NYFW Fall 13 // My faves

As I'm sure many people know, New York fashion week has just come to an end. During the week I've been catching up and looking at what's being going on during the week..
(As if it was the news)

Normally I tend to stick more to London Fashion Week, in terms of keeping up to date with it, checking out collections, watching videos etc. But I've decided to become more knowledgeable  and really get into watching the other weeks, I feel it broadens knowledge more as well as getting to know up and coming designers from everywhere, rather than just London/ the UK.

I also think it's great to compare the differences in the styles throughout the fashion capitals, as each has it's own style and vibe and I think it's good to see this.

Soooooo, on that note, I thought i'd share with you a few of my personal favourite collections/ pieces/ designers from NYFW.

Alon Livne

So elegant and classy! - Love the "sheer-ness" of the middle one and the androgynous feel to the last one 

Elizabeth and James

Love the oversized/ boyfriend style coats

Hervé Léger by Max Azria

Love the fabrics used, and the print of the crop top

Marc by Marc Jacobs

Probably my fave of the whole week! I love it all, the colours, the floral print and the oversized feel - gorjy! (what a cringy word)

Michael Kors

Love the matching suits, and bold prints.

Oscar de la Renta

Probably my second favourite, I love these all soo much! So glamorous and the floral print is so nice! - Again the dresses with the sheer sections are so pretty!

Rachel Zoe

Chic yet have a slightly more casual feel - both outfits great for daywear

Rebecca Minkoff

Again a slightly more casual feel. I love the end one with the neon yellow mixed with black

Soo, that's everything! - my favourite pieces from my favourite collections of the shows.

I plan to do this for every week upcoming so I hope that's alright!
